Annual Genealogy & History Workshop
Monroeville, AL - Monroe County Heritage Museum will host its 18th annual
Genealogy & History Workshop on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019 from 8:00 am to
3:00 pm at the Old Courthouse Museum on the square in downtown Monroeville.
Nancy Dupree, research archivist for 20 years at the Alabama Department of Archives and History, will host our morning session with a 2-part presentation on the use of early land records, followed by a program on digitized records now available at the Archives.
Monroeville attorney Milton Coxwell will present a program on using local probate records in genealogical research, followed by Conecuh County librarian & genealogist Sherry Johnston with information on resources available at libraries.
