We are thrilled to announce the Monroeville Main Street 4th Annual Paint the Town Paint Out in partnership with Plein Air South and Monroe Council for the Arts, in conjunction with the Monroeville Literary Festival hosted by the Monroe County Museum. We invite all plein air artists to register to come and paint the town from Thursday, February 29 to Saturday, March 2.

 

The event kicks off on Thursday, February 29 with an Early Bird painting session from 9am-5pm. Later that day, join us for a Meet the Artists social from 5:30pm-7:00pm. On Friday, March 1st, our artists will be painting around the square from 9am-5pm.

 

Don't miss our Quick Draw Competition on Saturday, March 2nd! Register at 8am and the competition starts at 9am. This event is open to the public of all ages for a small fee. The Wet Paint Sale will take place from noon to 3pm on the same day. Awards will be presented at 2:30pm and all work must stay until the end of the wet paint show.
